Overview
BLAKEAS AI ("BLAKEAS", "we", "us") is a personal AI assistant that helps you organize your inbox, manage your schedule and plan your day. This policy explains what information we collect when you use blakeasai.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address and password when you sign up with email, or your name and email address when you sign in with Google or Lovable.
- Preferences — things you choose during setup and in Settings, such as what BLAKEAS calls you, its tone, your working hours and your briefing options.
- Your content — tasks you create, messages you send to the assistant, the assistant's replies, and notes BLAKEAS remembers because you asked it to.
Information from connected Google accounts
Connecting Gmail or Google Calendar is optional. You choose whether to connect each one, and you can disconnect at any time in Settings.
- Gmail (read-only). With your permission, BLAKEAS reads your email messages and their details (sender, subject, date and content) to show your inbox, sort it, summarize messages, spot deadlines and draft replies for you to review. BLAKEAS cannot send, delete or change your email.
- Google Calendar. With your permission, BLAKEAS reads your events to show your schedule, find free time and plan your day. It adds an event to your calendar only after you see the full details and press Approve.
- Basic profile. We receive the email address and name on the Google account you connect, so you can see which account is linked.
Google API Services User Data Policy
BLAKEAS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular, data we receive from your Gmail and Google Calendar:
- is used only to provide and improve the features you see in BLAKEAS;
- is not sold, and is not used for advertising;
- is not used to build or train general-purpose AI models;
- is not read by people, except with your permission, when needed for security or to comply with the law.
How we use your information
- To run your account and the features you use, like your daily briefing, Organize My Day and the assistant.
- To generate summaries, plans and draft replies with AI, based on your request.
- To keep a history of what BLAKEAS read or did for you, which you can see in the app.
- To keep the service secure and to fix problems.
To create AI responses, the relevant content (for example, the email you asked about) is sent to the AI service we use to process your request and return the answer.
Content inside your email and calendar
BLAKEAS treats the text of emails and calendar events as information to read, not instructions to follow. It will not act on instructions hidden inside a message.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run BLAKEAS (such as hosting, sign-in and AI processing) so they can provide that service to us, or when required by law.
Your choices
- Disconnect Gmail or Google Calendar at any time in Settings → Connections.
- You can also remove BLAKEAS's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Edit or delete your tasks and change your preferences in the app.
- Ask us to delete your account and the data stored with it by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll let you know in the app.
